I like the colors you chose, nice to see some natural colors in anime styled art every now and then

However, there's a few things I'd like to point out here.

Lets start with anatomy. While working with reference is an excellent idea, I'd also suggest digging up some anatomy books. Before you can properly understand how the body works, you must brake it down to skeleton and muscles. And even tho it isn't all that important to know how each and every muscle works, it's the shapes that matter. For bonestructure it's the proportions and especially how joints work. If you want to I can recommend some anatomy books, but any book/other source material that shows the skeleton and the muscles works just fine.
Remember, the skeleton is the foundation you need to build the body and the pose on!

In this pic, I'd like you to pay attention especially to the arm - the arm should narrow down from shoulder, and then widen at the elbow only to narrow to the wrist. You can see that pretty clearly on the ref pic you used. Also, pay attention to the hands.

Other thing here, while your lineart is fairly solid, and neat, it still needs some work. If you want to really bring your lines alive, you should look into linewidth. For good inking example, I suggest checking out nyanko-chan here on dA. Solid lines with no change in lindewidth work in highly styled anime screencap type of works, best with cell shading - also works well when the coloring is clearly in the focus.

Also, about the coloring. While flat colors can be used as a style choice, it usually requires the lineart to take the focus for the image to come alive.
With this pic, I'd suggest adding more shading, especially to her clothes - the lack of shading in her torso makes it harder to figure out just how exactly the pose is supposed to go.

And yeah, I has problems with a lot of these things I'll try to look into some of these, though arms might never be right in my pictures. More so the hands, hands are a bitch to do.

You chose a hard pose to draw but you didn't do too bad at pulling it off, though the way you drew her legs she does seem to be lacking a butt. The arms seem short and her hand seems backwards because of how you drew the thumb.

The face looks good and the hair frames it nicely. You should try colouring slower because the strokes are really visible here too. Also your lines look like your pen is dying.
